This four-module training will provide an overview of Universal Design for Learning and will focus on an introduction to the three principles of the UDL Guidelines: Engagement, Representation, and Action & Expression. Subtopics will include the cognitive neuroscience and behavior theory that support UDL, how to read the UDL Guidelines, creation of a universally designed virtual or physical classroom, alignment of UDL Guidelines to the Teacher Growth Rubric, and creation of UDL Action Plans for use in a virtual or physical classroom for each of the 3 UDL Principles.



Module 1 –  Universal Design for Learning Overview (2.0 hrs.)


Module 2 – Engagement (1.5 hr.)


Module 3 – Representation (1.5 hrs.)


Module 4 – Action & Expression (1.5 hrs.)
